Renal Transplantation Using Cadaver Donor

Abstract

|
Because of world-wide organ shortage for transplantation, usage of marginal donor including cadaver donor, which had been discarded previously by the transplant team again focused recently. The increase rate of acute tubular necrosis (ATN) and delayed graft function. In order to increase the number of cadaver donor, understanding of serious organ shortage is mandatory between medical persons and civilians.
From 1994, we started our cadaver donor organ transplantation program. Brief result of these cases and processes of cadaver donor renal transplantation are reviewed.
